Cronotopoi and motifs in Daphnis and Chloe
This work aims to investigate the presence of cronotopoi in the Ancient novel, primarily focusing on Daphnis and Chloe, by Longus of Lesbos (circa IInd Vacuum Sealer Parts century AD), work classified as "adventure novel of ordeal" genre according to Mikhail Bakhtin.In this study it will be examined the motifs related to the cronotopoi and the echo of these aesthetic resources in later works.Emphasis will be given on analyzing the modes of representation of the locus amoenus, the love meeting and initiation and the meaning Clay Powder effects these phenomena bring to the text.
